Printing
Is there a minimum print order?
There is no minimum order. As digital printers, we are able to print both small and large quantity runs. We do however print onto SRA3 sized sheets, so for example, if you ordered 1x A6 print, you would be required to pay for 1x SRA3 sheet

No
How do I send my files?
We require files to be sent as PDF or Jpeg files. You can email us directly; use the client upload service on our website, Wetransfer, or come into store with your file saved onto an USB. Please note we do not use Google Drive.
Shipping & Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
It very much depends on the size of the parcel and location for delivery. We would quote for delivery as part of your order. Any further questions feel free call the store and ask for further details
Which shipping carriers do you use?
Royal Mail for smaller items and Parcel Force for larger items.
What are your delivery times to Non-mainland UK and Highlands?
During weekdays it should take no longer than 24hours after dispatch. If posted on a Friday, times may vary.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
Yes
Can you deliver on a Saturday?
Yes, although we are not open at a weekend, we can offer Saturday delivery at an extra charge.
Can I upgrade my delivery to receive it any quicker?
With Parcel force, you have the option of upgrading to pre 10am delivery at an extra cost. For Royal Mail deliveries, we can send tracked/recorded – prices may vary depending on parcel size and location
My order is due for delivery today but I won’t be in. What can I do?
Once your order is with you parcel delivery service/courier it would follow their guidelines in terms of missed deliveries, ie. Local postal depot
Your Orders
I’ve uploaded the wrong artwork what shall I do?
Contact us as soon as possible to make any changes to your order via email or store contact number.
Can I change my order shipping address?
No, once it has left the store we would, unfortunately, be unable to amend the shipping address.
How do I amend/cancel my order?
Contact the store as soon as possible by email or telephone. If we have already printed your order you are liable for the cost.
How do I track my order?
During printing, you can request updates via email or over the phone. In regards to tracking deliveries, we recommend checking the requested postal delivery service guidelines.
Is it possible to leave feedback based on my experience ordering with Photoline?
Yes, of course, if you are happy with your experience we would love to receive your feedback on our Google review page, or on any of our social media pages.
What file types do you accept?
We print only from PDF, but we can accept JPG files which we can convert before printing.

Do you accept Microsoft Word files?
No, when we convert Word Doc files to PDF the formatting often changes. To prevent this please send as a PDF.
What is the maximum file size for uploading my artwork?
There is no limit, however, if the file is too large to attach to an email, we frequently use Wetransfer.
Do you print in RGB or CMYK?

Student Services
Do you do a student discount?
Yes. However, we don't have a set percentage of discount for students. Please contact us for more information.
What’s the latest time of day I can order for same day printing services?
Print production ends at 5:30 pm Monday – Friday. We try our very best to complete all orders the same day, however, It does vary depending on the order specifics. Mid-day is the cut-off for same-day printing, but depending on the order this is flexible, contact the store and we can further advise.
Additional Questions
Can I bring my own paper into the store to print onto?
Yes, we can do this, however, we would suggest coming into the store so that we can double-check that your paper is compatible with our printers, and we can run a test print off. We cannot print onto anything thicker than 350gsm so that would be something to consider. If you have a specialised paper stock in mind, give us a call and we go into further detail.
Can we book appointments?
No, we are unable to offer appointments and work on a first-come-first-served basis.
What time do you finish printing?
Our print production team leaves at 5:30 pm Monday – Friday, we are open until 6 pm for collection only.
How should we export our files?
We require your files exported as a PDF, with crop marks if your file has bleed. Most importantly please save as pages rather than spreads. Our printers do not accept spread format.
Do you print T-Shirts?
Unfortunately, we do not print onto any fabric based mediums.
What is the difference between encapsulated and laminated?
Lamination: a thin layer of plastic, which can be applied single-sided or double-sided and is trimmed flush to the edge. It is used to enhance the look of the item but it is NOT waterproof. Encapsulation: a thin layer of tough plastic on both sides, sealed at the edge and waterproof.
What is the largest you can print?
The widest we are able to print large format Is 1500mm (1.5m) by any length.
