Here are a few top tips to help you make the most of your pop up exhibition stand:


CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE

Firstly, make sure you choose the right size for your stand. There are many sizes available including 3 x 3, 4 x 3 and 5 x 3 , 3 x 3 being the most popular. Compare the size of your stand with the finished size of your pop up, bearing in mind the curve! Choose the one that fits best allowing for other items of furniture and displays you might also include on the stand area, as well as making sure there’s enough room for staff and visitors to circulate.

CREATE A VISUAL IMPACT

Display graphics that have the most impact are usually simple and cleanly designed, with one large strong visual image to gain attention. Remember most people make a decision about whether or not to approach a stand within a second or two, so having a stand -out graphic is essential.

Also bear in mind that most people will see your stand from a distance so make sure that your messages stand out and are not obstructed by furniture etc.

HAVE A STRONG, CLEAR MESSAGE

Decide what the main objective is from the event. Maybe you are hoping to inform customers about a new product launch, an improved service or a collaboration?

Whatever the objective you should convey your message and the main benefits of your product/service in a clear way and compelling manner to gain interest from potential clients.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Keep the overall design simple and uncluttered to ensure your main message has impact. This includes checking that text fonts can be read clearly and are not obscured by the background and that there is not too much information and images on the panels as visitors will switch off with information overload.

If you have additional messages or products to showcase , you can use additional banner stands to convey the information and literature stands to house product information.

MAKE SURE GRAPHICS ARE POSITIONED PROPERLY

If you have any kind of graphic design theory knowledge, you will already know that the eye typically reads from the top left corner to the bottom right. However, due to the curvature of pop up display panels, it is important to do things a little differently. Make sure your main message/ call to action are near the prime position in the centre of the panel, along with eye-catching graphics.

Placing important information in the bottom right corner or along the bottom of the display will more than likely get missed by passers-by.

Try to avoid putting information on the curved end panels of the display stand too, as these disappear around the back of the panel.

QUALITY IMAGES

Having blurred or pixelated images on your display looks unprofessional. Always opt for high resolution images which will help provide a high end look to your display stand.
